Summerfest Success

Throughout July, Hamilton Our Town brought Summerfest to the town centre — a month-long programme of events and activities designed to create additional reasons to visit, spend time in and enjoy Hamilton town centre during the summer holidays. Advertised across central Scotland on Go Radio in July, the festival curated and promoted activities for families helping shine a spotlight on our town centre.

Highlights included Hamilton Information Project for Youth’s ‘Going for Gold’ free to access Commonwealth Games inspired activities and ‘Lanarkshire Pride’, which attracted a fantastic turnout,  creating a vibrant and busy day across the town centre.

We are now looking ahead to our autumn / winter programme, with more events and activity planned over the coming months. If you would like to get involved, please get in touch at info@hamiltonbid.org

Business Survey – Have Your Say

We are currently fact-finding and looking to the future, and we want to hear directly from businesses operating within the area via a new survey.

This survey is specifically for local businesses and is not a general public survey. Your feedback will help us build a clearer picture of business priorities across the town centre.

We want to understand what matters to you, what you think is working well, the challenges your business is facing and what you would like to see prioritised in the future.
