Gala Day returns to Quarry Street on Saturday 4th July, from 10am to 4pm.

The event marks the official start of Hamilton SummerFest 2026, which will bring over 30 events and activities to the town centre across the month.

Summer Gala Day will feature a lively mix of entertainment, community activity and summer fun, with stalls, live performances, children’s activities and plenty for families to enjoy throughout the day.

The Bandstand Stage will include a packed line-up of performers, including, Sambayabamba, Bonnie Banks, Taylor Swift Effect, Garry King, Greatest Showman, Simply Ariana and Jane Henderson.

Across the event area, visitors can also enjoy activity and entertainment from Walking Theatre Co, Think Circus, Play Equipment, face painters and balloons, helping to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

Hamilton Summer Gala Day is part of our ongoing programme of town centre events, supporting local businesses, bringing people into the heart of Hamilton and creating positive reasons to visit, shop local and enjoy the town.

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a day of music, stalls, family activities and summer fun in Hamilton town centre.
