Hamilton town centre will welcome the return of Lanarkshire Pride on Saturday 1 August, bringing a colourful programme of live entertainment, community activity and the Pride march to Quarry Street.
The event is organised and delivered by Lanarkshire Pride CIC, an independent community organisation working to support LGBTQ+ people across Lanarkshire. Hamilton Our Town is delighted to support this year’s celebration alongside a range of sponsors, partners and funders who have helped make the event possible.
Activity begins from 10am with the community market, followed by entertainment on the main stage from 11am. This year’s line-up features a variety of performers, hosted by Madame Jo Mama and headlined by Cheryl The Queen.
The Pride march will form from 1pm outside Specsavers Hamilton on Quarry Street before leaving at 2pm. Everyone is welcome to join the march, show their support and help create a positive and inclusive celebration in the heart of Hamilton.
Visitors can also enjoy an outdoor bar beside the main stage, community stalls and activities throughout the day. The event is expected to finish at approximately 4pm.
Lanarkshire Pride has grown into an important annual event for Hamilton, attracting visitors to the town centre while providing a visible celebration of equality, inclusion and community. It also brings our month-long programme of activities, Summerfest to a fitting close.

Please note that Quarry Street will be closed to vehicles from 5.30am until 7.30pm on Saturday 1 August, with no parking permitted during this period.
