Hamilton Town Centre sparkled on Saturday 22nd November as thousands gathered to celebrate this yearâs Hamilton Our Town Christmas Light Switch On. With an estimated 6,000 visitors throughout the day, the event brought incredible festive energy to the whole town centre and created a truly unforgettable day for our community.
From the moment the market opened to the final countdown under the Christmas tree, the atmosphere was filled with joy, music and togetherness â everything we hoped for and more. đâ¨
â Our Hamilton Hero
A special highlight of the day was welcoming our Hamilton Hero 2025, Lesley Robertson, who had the honour of switching on the townâs Christmas lights. Chosen through public nominations, Lesley represents the very best of Hamiltonâs community spirit. We were thrilled to celebrate her incredible contribution and have her lead this yearâs festive moment.
