Running from 1st July to 1st August, SummerFest Hamilton will feature a wide range of things to see and do, from children’s activities and creative workshops to live entertainment, heritage tours, pop-up events, community activities and special days out across Hamilton.
The festival officially kicks off with Hamilton Summer Gala Day on Saturday 4th July on Quarry Street, bringing stalls, music, children’s activities, entertainment and a brilliant summer atmosphere right into the heart of the town centre.
Across the month, families and visitors can enjoy a fantastic mix of activities taking place in and around Hamilton, including NERF Battle Arena sessions in the Regent Centre, Going for Gold Commonwealth Games pop-up activities, Lego Club at Low Parks Museum, creative sessions with Hooked on Wool, Mausoleum tours, children’s sports camps, library activities, arts and crafts, drama sessions and much more.
There will also be plenty happening for the wider community, including the Lanarkshire Pride documentary project at Low Parks Museum, Pride banner-making activity, local business events, family-friendly activities and the return Lanarkshire Pride on Saturday 1st August on Quarry Street.
SummerFest Hamilton is all about bringing energy, colour and activity into the town centre during the summer holidays. Whether you are looking for something to keep the children entertained, a fun day out with family, a chance to explore local history, a creative workshop, a community event or simply another reason to visit Hamilton, there will be something happening throughout July.
