We have been made aware that a trial which will see the official return of vehicles to the pedestrianised zone on Quarry Street, the centre of the BID area is planned to go live from the 1st February 2024.

We are aware that this trial will see the introduction of vehicle parking bays on Quarry Street, providing a 30-minute waiting time for those wishing to use the businesses on the street. Vehicle, access to the street would be provided via Cadzow Street where the 30 min waiting time will also be permitted in the existing bays as we understand it. Access via Keith street is planned to be for public transport vehicles only.

Loading restrictions will be in place from 9:30am to 16:00 daily within the area. Therefore businesses should plan now for these changes.
