A Fantastic Response to Our Festive Panto in Hamilton Town Centre.

Oh yes it was! Our festive panto brought laughter, music and plenty of Christmas cheer to Hamilton town centre — and we’re delighted to say it was a huge success.

Families of all ages joined us in the Regent Shopping Centre to enjoy a fun, inclusive and accessible performance, helping to create a real buzz and a brilliant festive atmosphere right in the heart of the town.

One of the most exciting parts of the project was breathing new life into a former vacant unit, transforming it into a lively performance space for the community. Seeing an empty shop filled with laughter, applause and happy faces really showed the power of creative placemaking and what’s possible when town-centre spaces are used in new and imaginative ways.

A huge thank you goes to our fantastic partners Hamilton Information Project for Youth (HIPY), Howden Insurance, Hamilton and the Regent Shopping Centre, whose support made this event possible. We’d also like to give a big shout-out to Halo Arts for their creativity, expertise and energy in bringing the panto — and the space — to life.

Thank you to everyone who came along, cheered, clapped and joined in, and to the performers, crew and volunteers who worked so hard behind the scenes. The lovely feedback we’ve received from families has been the icing on the (Christmas) cake.

This panto was a great example of how partnership working, creativity and community spirit can transform our town centre — and we can’t wait to do it all again.
