Hamilton Town Centre sparkled on Saturday 22nd November as thousands gathered to celebrate this year’s Hamilton Our Town Christmas Light Switch On. With an estimated 6,000 visitors throughout the day, the event brought incredible festive energy to the whole town centre and created a truly unforgettable day for our community.

From the moment the market opened to the final countdown under the Christmas tree, the atmosphere was filled with joy, music and togetherness — everything we hoped for and more. 🎄✨

⭐ Our Hamilton Hero

A special highlight of the day was welcoming our Hamilton Hero 2025, Lesley Robertson, who had the honour of switching on the town’s Christmas lights. Chosen through public nominations, Lesley represents the very best of Hamilton’s community spirit. We were thrilled to celebrate her incredible contribution and have her lead this year’s festive moment.

🎶 Fantastic Performances

A huge thank you to every performer who took to our stages. From choirs and musicians to dancers and community groups, your talent and enthusiasm lit up the day long before the Christmas lights did. You created something very special, and we’re incredibly grateful.
