Hamilton Market Returns to the Town Centre
After a hugely successful spring and summer of events – including our Gala Day and Pride celebrations – Hamilton Market is back! The first date of the autumn programme takes place in the Regent Centre on Saturday 6th September.
Hamilton Market plays an important role in supporting both our local economy and community. Each market features a range of talented local vendors, offering carefully selected products that complement the existing town centre businesses. By hosting the market in key locations, we aim to drive valuable footfall into Hamilton town centre, creating opportunities for shops, cafés and services to benefit.
Beyond shopping, the market also provides community value through free children’s activities and events, delivered in partnership with local charities and volunteers.
A recent survey of market visitors showed that many not only spent money at the market stalls, but also went on to shop in other Hamilton town centre businesses on the day — and often returned at a later date. This highlights the positive impact the market has on our wider economy.
As we look ahead to the remainder of 2025, we hope Hamilton Market will continue to strengthen our placemaking efforts and boost economic support for the town. Most importantly, we ask our community to get behind the market by supporting local and spending local.
We look forward to welcoming you on 6th September 10am to 4pm!…Check out our socials for updated news on our monthly market and events.
