Summer Gala day – This Saturday 19th July!
This year’s town centre Summer Gala rolls into town this Saturday with a great line-up of entertainment on Quarry Street from 10am to 4pm focused around the bandstand. We’re hoping for a dry day with lots of visitors following the success with the recent Easter Gala in April. We also understand that Smith’s Family Funfair will be in operation on Townhead Street on Saturday.
As usual the road will be closed from 6am to 7pm (we will open as soon as equipment is cleared). If any businesses have deliveries, please get in touch.
SummerFest continues…
SummerFest Hamilton 2025 is now well underway as part of a new month-long programme of events, promoted through the month on Go Radio, our socials and festival website, designed to showcase the town centre area of Hamilton to a wide audience. 9 days into the festival our dedicated new festival website has recorded over 4.1k visitors to date, set to increase as we look forward to a live slot on BBC radio.
This week, we’re at Hamilton Park Racecourse highlighting the town centre to racegoers. Holiday & Flight centre are hosting a fantastic children’s art competition, the calendar of family-friendly programmes at the Museum, Townhouse continues and, of course our Summer Gala Day is this Saturday.
