Hamilton Christmas Light Switch on 26th November:

Come along to Quarry Street Saturday 26th November for a full day packed with free festive entertainment and our largest market yet! (Open 10am – 6pm). Kids will climb for FREE in the Hang On Climbing Centre (age 4+) 11am – 3pm. You’ll find entertainment on Quarry Street with our main stage at the top of the street and bandstand stage next to Primark. Check out our Regent Shopping Centre performance area too featuring a Silent Disco and Choir Singers! The Christmas Lights will be turned on by the winner of the Hamilton Hero competition at 17:30 following a day packed with festive entertainment. Trevor Smith funfair will be back on Townhead street, we’ll have free face painting, outdoor play, a superb market and a day packed with entertainment from the likes of Garry King, Holly Scally (from the voice), An Abba Dream, an LED light show and much much more.

The Reindeer Parade is on 3rd December:

We’re back the following Saturday with Hamilton Market 10am – 4pm and the town centre parade starting from 2pm. Once again, we’ll host a day packed full of free entertainment starting at 12pm and free kids climbing at the Hang On Climbing Centre. We’ll have entertainment on the bandstand stage and platform stage area at the bottom of Quarry Place AND performance area at the top of Quarry Street. The parade is set to be the most spectacular ever and led by Santa and his Reindeer. We’ll have a day packed with entertainment from the likes of Clanadonia and Samba Ya Bamba and much more. Once again, we’ll have free face painting, balloon modelling outdoor play and Trevor Smith funfair will return on Townhead Street:

Christmas Gala – 17th December.

For our final festive date, we have the fantastic Hamilton Market 10am – 4pm and a day, once again packed full of Christmas entertainment not to be missed from the bandstand. We have a whole host excellent musicians, dance schools, circus performers and of course free face painting and much more. Pick up a last-minute gift in town, and enjoy a well-earned rest for lunch in one of many excellent cafe’s or restaurants.
