Hamilton Market:
Last Saturday 24th June was our 5th Market of 2023 and once again we we’ve been delighted by the public response. Our aim is to provide positive marketing and additional footfall to the area through these monthly events. On Saturday we recorded an additional 1,918 approx visitors year on year +30.8% into the town. Since March Hamilton market has produced an estimated additional 11,285 visitors year on year. Data provided by the Regent centre indicates that the majority of visitors to the market on Saturday used Quarry Street to enter / exit.
The social media campaign last week alone provided reach of 83,950 with 17,136 engagements, 142,740 impressions and 43 shares helping drive ongoing representation for the town on social media.
The market will return at Pride South Lanarkshire on the 29th July and 12th August, both outside on Quarry street. Stalls are available at no cost to BID area businesses. We have very limited availability for the 29th July but have more availability for 12th August. Please get in touch for more information.

Quarry Street opening:
We are awaiting a specific date for the 30min free parking trial / street opening to traffic. However, our understanding remains that the trial will commence in this calendar year. As soon as we have information we will provide it here.
