Thank you from Hamilton Our Town:
Hamilton Our Town would like to express our gratitude and thanks to the town centre business community for their ongoing support and encouragement throughout 2023. As we prepare for the festive season, we recognise the challenges faced by town centres, including our own, and appreciate every effort made to make a difference, no matter how small. The contributions made by businesses, both financially and through volunteering, are crucial to our not-for-profit organisation. We are always on the lookout for individuals from the business community who are interested in getting involved, whether it be through sharing ideas, volunteering at events, or taking a position on our volunteer board. If you are interested in getting involved, please do not hesitate to contact us at malcolm.thomasharley@hamiltonbid.org. New and additional advertising opportunity & Wi Fi relaunch:
Next week our free to use town centre Wi-fi provider will change to a company called Stampede. This change will resolve connectivity issues faced by apple device users alongside providing new exciting marketing benefits. These benefits include:

If you would like your business to feature on the free Wi-Fi we can include an image and link that users will see when logging in. This presents an excellent opportunity to connect to an audience already in the town centre on the day. If interested and to find out more, please contact malcolm.thomasharley@hamiltonbid.org. Don’t forget, if you are not already receiving our free professional photography/ advertising service, its time to join the other 120 businesses already signed up. Hamilton Market:
Last Saturday 28th October, Hamilton Market was back in the Regent centre. We we’re delighted by a busy day for footfall in and around the area and the ongoing positive spotlight that the project provides for the town centre area via our marketing. Whilst we are awaiting official footfall information from the shopping centre at this point, we are confident that a strong performance was achieved. Our next date takes place at the Regent Centre Christmas celebration on the 18th November followed by the Christmas Light Switch on taking place on Quarry Street on the 25th November.
Town centre anti-social behaviour issues:
Thanks to those businesses who have provided feedback following our recent mailing on the subject of anti-social behaviour in the town. We are currently looking at tools / methods to enable improved collaboration and connectivity between the business community regarding these issues. More to follow.
