Graffiti:

I am pleased to report that following our intervention, M&S have removed the graffiti from their vacant unit facing Duke Street. Don’t forget that graffiti issues can be reported directly to SLC using the following link: Graffiti – South Lanarkshire Council. If you need any further support please let us know.

Summer events:

I am delighted to report that we are in the final stages of organising the summer street events . Featuring at all our dates will be the most varied market yet which is now very close to capacity alongside brand-new high impact performers and activities to compliment the market experience. On the 2nd date we are hosting a fun fashion show for the town centre businesses. Please get in touch if you would like to get involved.

Taxi Marshalls:

Following engagement with the Pub Watch group and local Police we are commencing with a trial introduction of Taxi Marshalls located at the rank on Bourne Street from this Saturday night. We hope that this provides an improved town centre visitor experience, supporting public safety and the evening economy in the area.
