February Business Update

🌸 International Women’s Day

📅 Saturday 7th March | Regent Centre | 10am–4pm

We’re jointly hosting a free community celebration with Hamilton Information Project for Youth (HIPY), celebrating the contribution of women in Hamilton and beyond.

The day will include Hamilton Market traders, charities and local makers, live music, tribute performances, family activities and community stalls — alongside free re-usable period products (whilst stocks last). To take part, email info@hamiltonbid.org.

📸 Women in Business Online Campaign

To mark International Women’s Day, we’re inviting businesses to let us know if they would like to be featured in our Women in Business social media campaign via our socials.

We’ve created an International Women’s Day selfie board and are happy to pop into your premises to capture photos of you and your team for use across our social platforms — a simple way to celebrate the women behind Hamilton’s businesses.

If you’d like us to visit your business, please email info@hamiltonbid.org to arrange a time.

🐣 Easter Gala Day

📅 Saturday 4th April | Quarry Street

Our Easter Gala Day returns with a vibrant, family-focused programme designed to drive strong footfall.

Stall spaces are available, and we are also welcoming partnership and sponsorship opportunities for businesses who would like enhanced visibility on the day.

Planning:

• A special offer
• An in-store activity
• An outdoor presence
• A themed display
• A market stall
• A partnership involvement

Let us know so we can promote you as part of the wider campaign.

Email info@hamiltonbid.org to get involved.

🌞 Summerfest – July 2026

Following last year’s success, we are pulling together plans for Summerfest’s return across July.

If you’re planning live music, workshops, launches or customer events, we want to include you in the official programme.

Email info@hamiltonbid.org to list your event.

📲 Social Media Support Scheme

Our social media platforms continue to grow in both followers and engagement.

The scheme includes:

• Featured posts
• Free professional photography

To get involved, email info@hamiltonbid.org.

🤝 Get in Touch

If you have ideas, events, promotions or simply want to chat through something, please get in touch.

We’re a small team, but we’re always happy to pop in and have a conversation about how we can support your business.

Email info@hamiltonbid.org and we’ll arrange a time that suits.
