What’s On in Hamilton Town Centre – 2026 Events Programme
Hamilton town centre is set for another vibrant year, with a full programme of markets, gala days and community celebrations planned throughout 2026.
Following the success of last year’s events – which supported an estimated 33,000 additional visitors to the town centre and delivered free activities for families across the year – Hamilton Our Town is once again bringing people together through a mix of indoor and outdoor events designed to support local businesses and create a welcoming town centre experience.
A Year of Events for Everyone
From themed markets and seasonal celebrations to large-scale gala days, the 2026 programme offers something for all ages and interests, with events taking place across key town centre locations including Quarry Street and the Regent Centre. Dates are TBC subject to changes. Look out for news on our Summerfest month long festival across July!

- 21 November – Christmas Light Switch-On. (Outdoor Event & Market)

These events play a key role in boosting footfall, supporting promotion of the area and encouraging repeat visits to Hamilton town centre. Just as importantly, they help create moments for families and communities to come together, with free entertainment and activities forming a core part of the programme.
