⭐ Celebrating Our Hamilton Hero: Lesley Robertson
Every year, Hamilton Our Town recognises an outstanding local individual who goes above and beyond for our community — someone whose kindness, dedication and impact make Hamilton a better place to live. This year, after dozens of heartfelt public nominations, we are proud to name Lesley Robertson as our Hamilton Hero 2025.
Lesley is deeply rooted in the heart of our town and has made an incredible difference through her work as founder of Juniors charity, supporting children and families. Her compassion, energy and unwavering commitment to helping others have touched countless lives across Hamilton and beyond. Whether she’s organising support initiatives, creating inclusive spaces or simply being there for those who need it, Lesley leads with warmth, generosity and genuine community spirit.
On Saturday 22nd November, Lesley took centre stage to officially switch on Hamilton’s Christmas lights. The cheers, applause and love from the crowd spoke volumes about her positive impact and the admiration she has earned throughout the community.
