Members of Hamilton ODC have been taking part in a challenge to raise money for The Beatson Cancer Charity … “walking, runing and crawling” as many collective miles as possible. This is their story …
The eight-year-old daughter of one of HODC’s members is currently going through treatment at the Beatson and that is why they are doing their challenge.
In just three weeks they have covered over 1,600 miles and helped to raise a significant sum – and are looking to the Hamilton community to continue the support.
Club Presidents, Chris MacFarlane, says: “The members of Hamilton ODC are coming together for this challenge to raise funds for what is an incredibly worthwhile cause and for an amazing charity in Beatson.” He adds: “It is a cause that is close to all our hearts just now with the daughter of one of our members currently going through treatment.”

Chris adds: “Katie is an inspiration to us all and we are using that inspiration for this challenge to raise what we can to assist Beatson in all the amazing work they do and the incredible care they provide.”
