Town Centre security:
We are assessing an opportunity to introduce a business radio system over a 3-month trial period in the area. The purpose of this trial would be to create a network of businesses supporting each other with regards antisocial behaviour / crime. Whilst the radios would not be linked to the Police, value may be demonstrated in the communication of issues between businesses and may act as a deterrent. At this stage we are assessing whether this scheme would be popular before proceeding. We are also aiming to fully fund the initiative for the 3-month trial period but with limitations in terms of the number of radio’s available during the trial. Get your Christmas event or promotion included in the festive guide!
We’ll be launching and promoting our Hamilton Festive guide at the start of November to coincide with the start of many festive events in the area. The guide will be promoted regularly across our social media channels and users will be able to click a link to view the PDF guide.
